Gallery opens from start of October til end of April
We have once again opened our home & garden to the public.
Open each week-end from 11-5, we offer Devonshire Tea, (Bobs, warm & tasty Scones, jam and cream) plunger coffee, mocka or hot/cold chocolate, cake, Juice, Iced Coffee and a range of Icy cold drinks like virgin Mojito, which you can enjoy while you relax in the African themed gardens, or view our personal running videos showing the Sheldrick Elephant Sanctuary from 'Nursery to Wild Herds,.. this is our way of raising funds which we happily donate back to Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya.
We do have a wide selection of items for sale in our new curio-gift shop most of which we have just brought back from our latest trip through Africa.
Our newest program we are taking on, is a CULTURAL EXCHANGE. We have offered to bring over our maasai friends, Joseph and his wife Nairesho to Australia for 2 months in 2019. We met and have been friends since 1999, so we think it is fair that after living & sharing their world for 20 years, it is time to give a bit back and let them share and learn about our lives and how we live here in Australia. We will be supporting them totally in every way, including flight tickets, and travel in Australia, so any donations will be gratefully appreciated. Update: Their tickets are bought, and they arrive on 4th April for 10 weeks. You can meet them at the gallery on any weekend in April 2019.
We also offer a TRAVEL ADVISE service for those of you who are thinking of taking a trip to Africa and would just like to chat about different options and what to expect. We are always happy to have a chat and share our knowledge with you. This is a free service, we can give you ideas & options available for the budget you have, discuss the type of things you want to see and do and where to find them, and much more. We have travelled Africa almost each year since 1999 with the longest trip being 15 months, when we took our own expedition vehicle over to Kenya in Sept 2013 and slowly made out way down to South Africa. So we are happy to share our knowledge and experience with you.
is free to enter and open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 to 5pm,
