Hi everyone, hope you all had a great xmas. Ours was a rollercoaster ride to say the least.!

The absolute BEST part of our day was when we took some quality time out while we were alone, to open the Baileys, add ice then ring our kids who were together in Qld. It was GREAT to hear their voices, (even though it was a bad line) but it was enough to help shed a few tears, especially when Bob heard Ella on the phone saying: “Opa”.

Finally on safari

Finally we got to go on Safari.....  Nakuru National park,  Nanyuki, (to look at Boran cattle studs),  Meru National park and finally back to Nairobi to organise a few things.  

Luckily i have managed to get a few photos on this time.  Nakuru National park was flooded when we got there, and the main road leading from the gate was under water, so i thought we may not get in... but,  we did manage to enjoy a couple of nig...

Supa Oleng and Karibuini

Those bloody goats!!!!!!!!!!

The one great thing that can drain your patience (mine at least) is the herds of goats & sheep that keep constantly getting into the paddock built exclusively for the Boran cattle so they have a go...

Where do I start!!!

Well, the first ever TRAVELANDER camper has set down in Africa. To say the least, it has drawn much curiosity and awe by the locals and everyone who sees it.

From Mombasa we headed down to Nairobi along the Mombasa highway, which we are happy to say is in good condition these days..
